Recensione dei Figurini ZVEZDA in Scala 1:72

The diorama shows mongoli in combat con cavalieri e fanteria russa. Both figure sets were sculpted by designers of the Russian firm ZVEZDA, but the cavalieri are distributed under the Italeri Historics label. These soldatini are useful for giocatori wargame interested in raising a late XIII secolo Mongol army under Temur-i lang (Tamerlano). To increase the variety of poses, the ZVEZDA mongoli may be mixed con suitable soldatini della orda d’oro di Italeri.

Valutazione

• Good choice of subject, the Mongoli sotto Tamerlano are an interesting troop type per giocatori wargame.
• Good detail. Facial features, scaled armour, padded jackets, elmi, belts, straps, pouches, buttons, weapons, shields, e horse furniture are nicely sculpted.
• Excellent poses, these soldatini appear realistic e they are very compatibile con eachother. The standing horses are sculpted correctly, only the galloping horses are in an incorrect gait.
• The ratio of cavalleria, cavalleria leggera, spearman, e fanteria leggera is about right to represent a typical Mongol army of the age of Tamerlano. Only due boxes of these soldatini are needed to raise a DBA esercito.

Conversione

• The variety of poses may be increased by swapping heads among the soldatini.

The ZVEZDA soldatini are a welcome addition to the growing range of medieval wargame soldatini in this scale. Due boxes of these soldatini are enough to build DBA Esercito 159b.
