Recensione del Gioco di Guerra
Trench is a set of wargame rules for divisional level grand-tactical engagements della prima guerra mondiale, o skirmish level trench raids. Both games are played on a modular trench layout using 6 x 12 inch segments of main trenches, communications trenches, cratered pieces of no-man’s land, e barbed wire section. The interchangeable trench segments are built up from due sheets of polistirolo, the lower of which provides a 1/2" fire step for soldatini to stand on.
A table of point values for men ed equipaggiamento is used to recruit 12 to 15 figure battaglioni for the divisional game, o individual officers, NCOs, e men for the trench raid game. The table lists varies armi pesanti ed artiglieria pieces, e the crews needed to operate them. Divisional scale fighting factor losses are determined con the help of the caduti Calculator, made up of tre overlapping cardboard discs con adjustable shooter e target parameters which determine the actual losses. For each 50 fighting factors lost, one figure is removed from the target unit. In the trench raid game, caduti are diced for normally.
