Il Reggimento Fucilieri di Württemberg of the Circolo dei Suebi was the oldest reggimento di fanteria of the Ducato di Württemberg. The owner of the reggimento was the Duke of Württemberg, who did not command the unit on campaign, however. The reggimento consisted of only un battaglione of ten compagnie fucilieri, due compagnie granatieri, e due cannoni reggimentali. Le compagnie di fucilieri had a full strength of 3 ufficiali e 148 fucilieri, whereas the compagnie di granatieri consisted of 3 ufficiali e 96 granatieri. Il Reggimento Fucilieri di Württemberg recruited its predominantly protestant recruits in the Ducato di Württemberg. A small number of the men came from the Duchy of Hohenzollern (catholic), the Estate of Wiesensteig (cath.), e the imperial city of Weil (cath.). Il Reggimento Fanteria di Circolo Württemberg was considered unreliable, ed it did not participate in any significant battaglie della Guerra dei Sette Anni.
