Flower Class Corvette H.M.S. Bluebell

Editors of Military Miniatures Magazine located this assembled model of a Flower Class corvette during a visit to Hamburg harbour. The corvette was built from an older version of the same kit now re-released by Revell. This model of H.M.S. Bluebell differs from kit No. 05061 only in the decalcomanie supplied con it. The assembled corvette e the glas case it comes in were for sale at a model ship store in Hamburg harbour district.
Close-up view of the bridge e the 4" SL gun. The sailors included in this kit wear the distinctive elmetto "tin hat" britannico. US Navy personnel wore un elmetto d’acciaio americano in combat.
