H.M.C.S. Snowberry (K 166) was built by Davie Shipbuilding of Lauzon, Quebec, ed it was completed on 30th novembre 1940. She had been ordered by the Royal Navy britannico, but on completion was transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy ed used as a convoy ship in the North Atlantic. In novembre 1943, assisted by other escort vessels, she sank U-Boot U536 approximately 500 miles west of Cape Finisterre. H.M.C.S. Snowberry spent most of her service life in the North Atlantic ed a brief period in the English Channel, before she was returned to the Royal Navy in 1945 e scrapped in 1947.

- Largest plastic model kit in this scale.
- 15 soldatini dell’equipaggio.
- Good value for money. Plastic model ships are cheaper than comparable kits made from wood e metal parts. However, the time spent building this kit is the more significant cost factor.
- 48 pages of modelling e painting instruction.
- The lower Class Corvette may be converted to a waterline model by cutting the hull at the appropriate level.
- Very difficult to build, over 620 parts.

H.M.C.S. Snowberry is a large e very attractive model for collezionisti, dioramisti e giocatori wargame. Much patience is required to put more than 620 parts together e paint this large vessel.
