Circolo Bavarese dell’Esercito Imperiale della Guerra dei Sette Anni, 1757–1763

The main body dell’armata bavarese, ten battaglioni di fanteria, 34 cannoni reggimentali, ed un artiglieria detachment of six cannoni e due howitzers, served in the Auxiliar-Korps dell’armata imperiale austriaca. In addition, Bavaria provided due county regiments for service in the imperial Reichsarmee attached to the armata francese. The picture shows artiglieri bavaresi serving un cannone reggimentale attached to a reggimento fanteria. The home-cast 40 mm soldatini are based for the Volley & Bayonet game system, they represent un battaglione d’artiglieria of twelve guns. In the background can be seen the church of pilgrimage Maria Brünnlein zum Trost located between Wemding ed Amerbach.

Guns e wagons dell’armata bavarese were painted blue-grey. However, the 2⁰ Reggimento di Circolo Bavarese received new cannone reggimentali con affusti rossi in 1760.
