Volunteer fanteria leggera prussiana del battaglione franchi Le Noble

The volunteer fanteria leggera del battaglione franchi Le Noble (F1) was recruited at the imperial city of Frankfurt on Main e raised in giugno of 1756 at Naumburg on Queis in Silesia. The battaglione consisted of quattro compagnie ed one Jäger-Detachment. Later in the war a specially equipped raiding party was added under the command of drum-major Dreyer. The battaglione was captured at Landeshut 23 giugno 1760. In gennaio of 1761 a new II^o battaglione was raised at Wittenberg. These 40 mm soldatini have been cast from Prince August moulds. The soldatini are painted con artist oils, e they are based on an upscaled 50 x 50 mm fanteria skirmish stand compatibile con the Volley & Bayonet game system. The unit represents un battaglione di fanteria leggera in skirmish order.

F1 e F6 were nominally increased ai reggimenti franchi when they received a II^o battaglione each in gennaio of 1761. The I^o battaglione of each unit, captured at Landeshut, was not raised again. F2 was increased ai reggimento franchi in gennaio of 1761. F3 was nominally increased to ai reggimento franchi in gennaio of 1760. The I^o battaglione, captured at Maxen, was not raised again. F4 was increased to a reggimento franchi in Januar of 1761. The I^o battaglione, captured at Landeshut, was raised again. F8 was increased to ai reggimento franchi con tre battaglioni in gennaio of 1761. F9 was raised as ai reggimento franchi con due battaglioni in 1758.
