Reggimento Fanteria Guardia del Corpo (1. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 115

The Leibgarde monument outside the Schloss in Darmstadt, Germania, honours the officers e men of the Leibgarde-Infanterie-Regiment who died in the due guerre mondiali. Raised ed uniformed in 1621, the Leibgarde-Infanterie-Regiment d’Assia-Darmstadt was the oldest body of fanteria regolare. Stone plaques on either side of the pedestal list the regiment’s battle honours of the Great War e seconda guerra mondiale. These inscriptions are summerized below.
