Fanteria Francese Napoleonica, 1812–1815
Recensione dei Figurini Airfix in Scala 1:76
The eight fucilieri in this unit are Airfix soldatini, i volteggiatori e granatieri are ESCI granatieri della guardia francese. Notice that the Airfix fucilieri are much shorter e thicker than the ESCI soldatini. These soldiers are not very compatibile con each other, ed it shows. Rather than recruit granatieri e volteggiatori from other figure sets, discerning modellers will want to model their own elite fanti by sculpting epaulettes on these Airfix fucilieri. Putty o modelling wax may be used for this purpose, e the result will be much more convincing than the figure mix shown here.

Valutazione
- Good choice of subject, the fucilieri in the habit-veste of 1812 are unique in this scale.
- Many excellent poses of marching, advancing e firing fanteria, including soldatini caduti.
- The set includes a nice range of command soldatini, con the exeption of dismounted officers.
- Granatiere e volteggiatori are not included, they will have to be converted.
- The soldatini are relatively short e stocky, con unusually large heads e shakos. They do not
easily mix con soldatini from other manufacturers.
- The portabandiera is a nice figure, but he should really be an eagle-bearer.
- In the later part delle guerre napoleoniche, trouser were worn over short gaiters.
- The coat tails on these soldatini are too long, e not of the correct cut. In 1810, the coat
tails were shortened, e the false turnbacks now extended to the edge of the tails. This
fashion carried on when the habit-veste was introduced in 1812.
- The typical cuff-flaps are missing.
Utilizzo Storico
- Fucilieri Francesi, 1812–1815
- Fucilieri Swiss, Italian, ed altri alleati francesi, 1812–1815
Conversioni Possibili
- Granatieri e volteggiatori di linea. Add epaulettes.
- Cacciatori e Fanteria Leggera del Regno di Württemberg, 1811–1815
These soldatini are still the only available fucilieri francesi wearing the habit-veste which was introduced in 1812. The poses are great for giocatori wargame who want to build advancing e firing units.
